Rob was in a tragic accident yesterday and has a severe spinal injury and is currently awaiting surgery in the ICU at Harborview (scheduled for tomorrow).They are going to put the spine back together, but there is now paralysis from the waist down.
We are thankful that he is mentally alert and has the use of both arms. His entire family and I are taking each day in stride as best we can, and are just asking for prayers that the surgery goes as expected.
At this time, the family is asking that no one visit the hospital unless contacted directly by the family. If you already have our cell phone numbers, feel free to use them, but please be aware that we will be checking messages only every so often since most of our time will be spent by his side.
